“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

In the Body of Christ there exists a wonderful variety of ministries, which are especially evident when we gather around the altar to worship God. By virtue of our baptism in Christ we are called to serve.  Please contact the parish office to begin volunteering  or (click here to fill out an our volunteer discipleship  form) with any of the opportunities below, unless stated otherwise within the description.

Hospitality / Usher

Greeters and ushers help to set the tone for the liturgy as they greet arriving worshipers. The ushers and greeters are the first faces arriving worshipers see.  Of course, a greeter or an usher needs the gift of hospitality, so that he or she is comfortable welcoming our regular worshipers and our visitors. Also helpful is a sense of liturgical prayer. As he or she distributes worship aids, assists with seating, gives attention to someone who may not feel well, or gathers the collection, there should be an awareness that Mass is not a spectator sport. It requires the full, active participation of all present. As the usher attends to the special needs of the day, he or she helps the liturgy run smoothly and contributes to the overall sense of worship.
