“I tell you… there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.”
Luke 15:7
Reconciliation is the sacrament of healing in which Catholics celebrate God for forgiving sin and for allowing us to become better united with God and the church. It is also known as the sacrament of penance or confession. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a conversion of heart and transformation from sin. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is the renewing of our baptismal dedication and dignity, an opportunity to restore baptismal innocence—an innocence that has been marred by sin.
